  I am in town a couple of times a month, but won't be returning to the Sandman.

  I booked a suite because I wanted kitchen facilities and a comfortable place to relax in the evening while in town on business. When I arrived I was told they didn't have a suite for me and instead found my room was closet sized without so much as a bar fridge and soundproofing was non-existent. The guy at the counter was not the least bit apologetic and the look on his face suggested he couldn't have cared any less. My two night booking was cut to one night, and I would have left on the spot if there had been other rooms available in town. The only positive comment I have is that the room was at least clean.

  Staff was nice. Looks like renovations could have been done a lot better. Door wouldn't latch shut.

  We were able to bring our dog inside with us. Everything was very clean and the front desk staff was absolutely amazing. They made sure that we had absolutely everything and anything that we might possibly required. In the attached Denny's restaurant, the staff was friendly as well. Food was delicious. Our granddaughter was given her meal for free which was so kind of them. We were displaced by the provincial fires that were going on at the time. I highly recommend stopping here. I have never been treated better at a hotel than here! WOW

  Stayed here for a few months while here for work. Staff are hard working and have always been helpful. They were short staff in house keeping while I was there and when I needed something the frount desk staff was always apologetic and would consider me to my room fairly quickly to bring me the items requested. The staff are hard working and dedicated to guests that are staying there.

  No microwave in any rooms. Had to put water through the coffee machine, then in to a cooler, then place my food in a plastic container and float it in the hot water to warm my food. They were vacuuming at 11:30 pm! My friends room had no working lights, aside from the bathroom. They got to use the TV to see their room. Will not be returning.

  I have 2 kids under 3 years old and they were quieter than our room neighbours. Price was average and can't beat the free 13th night in a Sandman Signature suite room. I have stayed at almost every Sandman in the province now.
